1. General Terms & Conditions
This site is managed by Rentwithwai. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Rentwithwai. By using our website and renting a garment from us, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please review these carefully, as they apply to all users of the site. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms & Conditions before you can rent from us.
You can find the latest version of these Terms here at any time. We reserve the right to amend these Terms by updating this page. Your continued use of the site after any changes are made means you agree to those updates.
As the legal owner of all garments listed on Rentwithwai, we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. You are renting each garment for an agreed period, and it must be returned at the end of this rental term.
During the rental period, only the renter may wear the garment. You are fully responsible for any damages that occur to the garment while it is in your care.
Once payment is received, the booking is confirmed. We do not offer holds.
2. Rental Date Selection
Please select the date you’ll wear the garment so that we can plan the shipping and return dates accurately.
Ensure that the rental period ends on a working day. For example, if your rental period ends on a weekend, extend it by an additional day so that it returns on the next business day.
3. Pricing
Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and may be adjusted at any time without notice.
4. Damages
If any damage (such as stains, tears, or other wear) occurs during your rental period, you will be charged for the associated cleaning or repair costs.
If a garment is lost or irreparably damaged, a replacement fee equal to its full retail price (RRP) will be required. Replacement fees are due within 30 days, and failure to pay on time may lead to legal action or debt collection, for which you will be responsible for any associated costs.
5. Cleaning Guidelines
Each garment is cleaned before and after rental periods. Please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself. If any stains occur, we will assess them upon return, and you may be invoiced for necessary dry cleaning.
6. Sizing Details
Each garment listing includes tag size and recommended size range as a general guide. This may not fit everyone the same, so please check the size chart and brand-specific sizing on each product page. We are not liable if sizing information does not match your expectations, and refunds will not be issued for fit issues.
7. Garment Condition
As a rental service, some garments may show minor signs of wear. Expect minor pulls, marks, or loose threads. Any known imperfections will be noted in the listing, and refunds will not be issued for pre-noted imperfections.
8. New Zealand Shipping
We use New Zealand Post’s Overnight Courier Service. Orders are processed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and are shipped 2-5 days prior to your chosen date, depending on availability.
Shipping Costs:
- Return Shipping (NZ Wide): $16.00 NZD
- Rural Return Shipping: $20.00 NZD
Once a package enters the New Zealand Post network, Rentwithwai is not responsible for any delays.
9. Returns
Please return garments to your nearest NZ Post counter by 2pm on the last day of your rental period. If this falls on a weekend or public holiday, return it the following working day.
Important: Do not use an NZ Post Drop Box, as these are not regularly monitored.
If you lose the provided courier bag, contact us immediately. We can send a replacement label if you have a printer, but if not, you will need to purchase a new NZ Post bag with Overnight Courier. Provide the new tracking number to avoid late fees.
10. Late Fees
A late fee of $20 per day, for up to seven days, will apply if the garment is not returned on the last rental day (or next working day). If another booking is canceled due to a delay, you will be held responsible for any resulting fees.
11. Unpaid Fees and Theft
Unpaid late fees are due within seven days. If the garment is not returned or fees remain unpaid, Rentwithwai may seek compensation of up to 120% of the garment’s RRP, using legal avenues if necessary. Renters are responsible for any related debt collection fees.
We may use contact information from your booking for assistance in locating a missing or unreturned garment.
12. Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the rental date. Store credit may be provided if cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to the rental start date.
13. Social Media
By tagging us in social media, you agree to let us use your images on our social media channels and website.
